We only waited a few minutes and they were very busy. Food was delicious, even though their delivery truck had not come. Our server, Dee, was exceptional. Not only was she very attentive but was polite also, and handled our check quickly.
We really enjoyed it. Very nice interior, reasonably priced good, if southern slow, service it the were also packed and it was not hard to see why. I had a great salad and their great creamy chicken noodle soup. My grandgirl had the salmon. As most know in food presentation is half the battle and you had her when the dish hit the table. Great stop. I doubt I will ever be in Tupelo again but if I am, I know where I am eating.
Delicious hamburger plus fries , extra soup. Waiter was fabulous. Husband ate salmon with wild rice & asparagus. Great food. Ambient was great, it was packed. Definitely will go back. Just passing through.
Food and atmosphere was great for our Thanksgiving meal. The service was great. Appetizers were perfect. Generous portions.
Harvey's is one of my favorite restaurants in Norther Mississippi. I think I previously reviewed the location in Columbus which is very good but I think the Tupelo location may even be a little nicer. Food and service are excellent. Don't miss the broccoli bites. Soooo good.
My daughter and I ate at Harvey's and loved it. Most meals come with the choice of salad or creamy chicken noodle soup. PICK THE SOUP! Best soup I've ever had. I got the chicken tenders with baked potato. Very good. My daughter got the lemon pepper chicken with broccoli - she loved it. The cheese sticks with marinara was excellent. We also got the skillet cookie -very good but we were too full to really enjoy. Great restaurant! Food comes out very rapidly
We were a party of 6 visiting the Tupelo area for the first time to celebrate our son's birthday. We made reservations on Yelp for 5:30 and were thankful; when we left at 6:40 there was quite a wait. The outside made me question by decision, but upon entering, we were very surprised at how beautifully decorated it is. Fantastic ambiance. Even though there were plenty of people seated around us, we could still easily hear each other. We started with the pimento cheese crawfish dip; my husband and I enjoyed it immensely. Those who got salad cleaned their plates, and the two of us who got the creamy chicken noodle said it was the best we'd ever had. The honey salmon was fantastic--moist, flaky...perfectly paired with asparagus. The macaroni and cheese was perfect--worth the splurge on calories. Chicken tenders were fresh and homemade. My son's blackened catfish was almost gone before the prayer was said. My husband had the ribeye and said it was overrated; he'd get the salmon or blackened catfish if he had it to do over again. We had intended to get a dessert, but we were all going into a comatose state by the time we were finished. We left with to-go boxes and all said we'd love to come back again. If you're on the fence, make your reservation. Quit overthinking it!
I was in my childhood town of Tupelo this past week and decided to go to Harvey's for dinner. I had the crab cakes and my guest had the steak salad. The food was excellent and the service was great and ambiance is very inviting. The menu covers about anything you might wish to eat for lunch or dinner. And, if you love desserts then you must check out their options. Check out Harvey's if you haven't ever been in or it has been awhile since you have.
